Chiropractic Care for
Ear Infections
Ear infections are most common in children under the age of three. One of the main reasons is the estuation tube is bigger and more horizontal which is easier for fluid to get into the ear. When fluid is in the ear it is more susceptible to infection. The chiropractor will adjust the neck because the nerves in the neck travel to the ear. The doctor will want to make sure the nerve stress is free and that there are no misalignments in the spine which can interfere with the estuation tube draining. Sometimes multiple doses of antibiotics can trigger more infection due to them slowing your immune system. You will be put on a diet to increase your immune system which may entails some supplements.
